Krishi Vigyan Kendra Unakoti was established in 2017 under the host organization of Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Tripura. It is located at Chantail, Kailashahar, Unakoti District which is approx. 145 km away from capital city Agartala and 22.5 km away from Kumarghat Railway station. KVK Unakoti is a grass root level institution designed to link between scientific research and extension to the farming communities ensuring the adoption of modern sustainable and profitable agricultural technologies through its multi disciplinary approach. KVK Unakoti has been instrumental in enhancing farm productivity, improving livelihood of rural people through Integrated farming system, Integrated pest and disease management, fishery, animal  husbandry, processing and value addition of Agri- Horti- Fishery products which thrive to empowerment of farmers and far women with scientific knowledge, technology and market drive and solutions.
